Friend of ET Jeff Howe puts Felger and his warming napkins in a body bag and Mike demonstrates ACCOUNTABILITY in discussing his vouch for Mark Dondero. Dak Prescott's contract and different team building philosophies are pondered.

Patrick Scartelli and the Irons Brothers are joined by Dan Staley of patriotsdaily.com.  The guys discuss Cam Newton's podcast appearance, the dangers of a second contract for an alleged "Franchise QB," and historical comps for finding a competent QB without premium draft position.

After a disastrous split decision in Los Angeles, Dave and Ironhead try to sort out how they feel about Cam Newton, Jarrett Stidham and the Patriots' wide receivers. Dave still thinks the Chargers play in San Diego. Al tries to one-up Scartelli. The episode concludes with exasperated rants about former Jets beat writer Manish Mehta. 

Ironhead and Scartelli discuss the good things they saw in the Patriots terrible win over Arizona while sort of trying not to put a bullseye on Cam. Other topics include: Why is media so giddy over Matt Patricia losing his job, and in the "water is wet" category: Greg Bedard doesn't understand what he sees. At all.

Can an intrepid squad of sports reporters cover the big high school games while sacrificing time for their families and still generate galaxy-brain hot takes without complaining about it? They can't, leaving Ironhead no choice but to weep about it with Scartsy and a special guest from the Old BSMW Board.

Dave and Ironhead pledge allegiance to candied yams, and try to determine how much Cam Newton reminds them of Drew Beldsoe.

The Patriots criminally negligent recent draft classes lifted them to victory over the Ravens, and we all learned how terrible that is.
